Defrost the Jar: Remove the jar from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour until the product softens enough to stir.

Clean & Dry Your Hair
Wash your hair and scalp thoroughly with shampoo to remove any oils or residue.
Let your hair dry completely before applying the product.

If you're applying to the front hairline and/or temporal peaks, use the provided barber pencil to draw your desired shape. This ensures natural-looking placement.

Skip this step if you're only applying to the crown or mid-scalp.

Stir the Product
Use the applicator stick to stir the product well, mixing in any separated natural oils for even consistency.

Apply to Thinning Areas in Sections

Apply the product directly to areas with visible thinning. For full coverage—from the crown to the front hairline and temporal peaks—follow the complete routine below.

Begin by applying the product to the crown and massaging it into the skin. Then move to the front hairline (if needed), and finally to the mid-scalp to connect both areas. At the front and temporal peaks, apply slightly behind the natural hairline—approximately ½ inch—to avoid creating visible edges or hard lines.

For temporal peaks, apply at the same time as the front hairline if desired. Be sure to blend with your fingertip using small, gentle circular motions at the front and sides to avoid visible edges or harsh lines.

Let Dry & Wear Night Cap

After applying, allow the product to dry fully — about 1 hour. Once dry, wear the provided silk night cap and keep the product on for 5 to 12 hours, depending on your desired stain.

5 hours gives a lighter stain; 12 hours delivers the darkest coverage. We recommend at least 7 hours for best results.

The silk night cap is designed for overnight use — it prevents transfer to your pillow and lets the product work its magic while you sleep. For daytime use, you can also wear it under a ball cap while going about your day.

Rinse & Nourish

In the morning, rinse with warm (not hot) water. Allow the water to gradually soften the dried paste—this may take 5 minutes or longer, so be patient. Bend forward and use the showerhead to gently rinse the area.

If needed, use only your fingertips in soft, circular motions to help lift any stubborn spots. Be especially gentle if you’ve had a hair transplant.

Do not use shampoo. Only if absolutely necessary for removing residual paste, a tiny amount of baby shampoo may be used.

Pat dry with a clean towel. Once completely dry, apply a pea-sized amount of the provided pure jojoba oil to nourish the skin and support healthy dye release.

For best results, avoid water, sweat, or strenuous activity for at least 12 hours after rinsing—this is recommended, though not mandatory.

Stain Development & Longevity

After rinsing, the stain will already be visible and will continue to deepen over the next 24–48 hours as the pigment oxidizes and sets into the skin. This natural development process creates a rich, longer-lasting tone. With proper aftercare, results can last for at least 7 days. To maintain a consistently dense appearance, reapply once per week.
